Why
Annual Licensing? It’s cheaper for you. It’s
cheaper for us. And it ensures that you have the latest
version of the software and access to our support services
at all times
Why is it cheaper
for you? The normal software model is to pay
a licence fee and annual support. In theory the support
fee is there to cover development and support, but all
software providers know that not everybody takes out
support, so the licence price is inflated to cover this
under-recovery. This means the basic licence cost is
3-5 times as high as it could be. If you add in a support
fee the costs just add up. Of course every time there
is a major update “it’s a new version” and “there is
an update fee”
Why is it cheaper
for us? Well, because we are not chasing users
for support fees, grading users to enable access to
update sites, supporting users on old versions and all
manner of associated tasks it costs us less to run,
so we can pass these savings onto you. Customers use
the software for as long as they want to sure in the
knowledge they are using the most recent version
How much does it
cost? Compare us with those of other products (prices
checked 10-Apr-04) for a 50 employee record version. Of course we are not
comparing to HR+Time Remote as we’ve found none that offer this route at all
without very excessive investment.

What about Re-registering?
HR+Time is sold on an annual licensing basis. This
means you must re-register and purchase a new license key on a yearly basis.
The HR+Time application will warn you starting from 30-days before the
expiration of your existing key, right down to every day in the last 5 days, so
you have plenty of time to get your order in. Indeed we send out email
reminders as well.
