a new Holiday Planner The top choice in
our user poll. HR+Time now offers a month to view Holiday
Planner that can be run for one employee, for a department
or for the whole company. Take a look at Setup>Absence
Codes and Setup>Holiday Entitlement Codes that support
this function
new Holiday
Reports You can run a Summary or Detailed Report
for one employee (via Personal Details) or for a Department
or range of Departments (via Edit>Holiday Planner)
for any month you wish. You can point your mouse at
any entry displayed and it will tell you what the Absence
was. You can alter entries on the Holiday Planner screen
and it will refresh open timesheets
better Absence recording You
can add Holiday and Absence entries through the normal
timesheet or add them straight onto the Planner itself. When
you look at the Personal Detail page you can add a Holiday
Year at the base of the screen; this functionality gives
you the ability to control multiple different holiday
years in one organisation

Details To tie in with the Holiday Year function,
you add a Holiday Year at the base of every Personal
Details screen. As you add holiday on timesheets the
Days Left field alters. There are now two new short
cuts - Holiday Planner and Attachments - on the right

Attachments for every employee One of the new
buttons on the Personal Details screen is Attachments.
Click on this and HR+Time opens up a new screen where
you can browse your network and add documents for that
employee. Wary of security this option is one you can
take-away from a user. Obviously basic network access
would suggest the folder itself has limited access and
all documents in the folder can have password protection
new setup options To
support the new Holiday Planner and Absence recording,
Setup>Absence Codes enables you to add colours to
the absence codes. this enables reports to provide an
instant understanding of the absences. Setup>Holiday
Entitlement Codes provides the user with the ability
to create unique Holiday Years with different names,
a total number of holiday days entitlement, carry forward
days and start and finish dates
New Add User wizard Adding
a New Employee has been the most frequent support request.
To help you create new employees, when you click on
F6 Add in the Personal Details screen a new pop-up appears
to ensure the correct base information gets into the
database to enable a valid new user record to be created.
In older versions of HR+Time, some users experienced
locking problems when creating new users that re-booting
cleared and inexperienced users did not always understand
what was required to create a New Employee record, so
we've listened to your suggestions and fixed it.
